Find out moreCanterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) is a public university located in Canterbury, Kent. It was granted university status in 2005, after being founded as a Church of England college for teacher training in 1962.
CCCU is the largest provider of education, training and skills to the public services, with five facilities reaching across Kent to Medway and over 18,000 students from 100 different countries.
From accounting and finance to software engineering and commercial music, CCCU offers an array of courses in the arts and humanities, applied and social sciences, (including business) and health.
Continuing to grow, multi-million-pound developments have ensured CCCU students enjoy the very best facilities. In January 2021, CCCU opened its Verena Holmes Building, a new £65 million major STEM centre with industry leading facilities and a creative arts hub, offering collaborative spaces and an innovative learning experience.
